HOMECOMING | A Global Photographic Journey of Finding Home wherever you are
Homecoming is a global nature photography series born from a deeply personal journey of seeking and redefining βhomeβ in the worldβs wild places. From the wind-swept shores of Miami to the quiet hillsides of Scotland, each photograph captures a different face of Mother Nature, revealing something essential about resilience, belonging, and rootedness. As I traveled across continents, designing homes for others while often far from my own, I came to realize that βhomeβ is more than a placeβitβs a feeling that can be found within us and within the landscapes that shape us.
Among the series, Why Do Palm Trees Sway?, taken in Miami, speaks to the strength and flexibility of nature in times of turbulence. Watching palm trees sway through storms, I saw a reminder of resilienceβa quality that we, too, are called upon to embody in lifeβs uncertain moments. Stillness Whispers, captured in the serene English countryside, is an homage to the quiet wisdom nature shares when we pause to listen. In contrast, Grounded Roots, an image of a mist-shrouded oak in Scotland, conveys a profound sense of groundedness, standing proud and resolute against the ever-changing landscape around it.
