11 Secrets to Create a Luxury Home on a Budget

Can you remember the last time you went on a really lavish holiday or stepped inside a beautiful boutique or restaurant? Can you remember how it made you feel?

Well, it’s proven. Space effects our mood! It can enhance and elevate or discourage and deflate how you feel. From layouts, to color, furniture and final accessories interiors help tell our stories and reflect who we truly are and ultimately make us feel good.

It’s natural to want to wait until you buy your dream home, win the lottery, find the time. Of course the dream scenario is to completely gut and renovate from top to bottom. You may not be ready to do a major overhaul, however, you can make a few small changes that are sure to lift your spirits (and the value of your home)!

1. First Impressions

What is the first space you see every time you enter or leave your home?

Most likely it is the entrance hallway. I like to consider this space your home’s hug!!

It’s the place that greets you after a long day. There are a few ways that you can make your entry area special. For a simple, yet very transformational shift we suggest a bold use of color. One that resonates with you and brings you happiness!

I also like to throw in a little personality and organization. A new entry console to place your keys so you always know exactly where to find them!

Artwork, mementos from travels and pictures of loved ones are always a nice greeting.

Framed photos of those I love also helps me to set an intention of love everytime I leave and return home.

2. Create More Space
